Celebrate our veterans! Veteran's Community Day is taking place on September 25 from 11 am - 1 pm at Memorial Park. Honor our local veterans and their service to our country. In addition to supporting the event, proceeds from the event will be used to serve the veterans community and for maintenance for the WWII and Vietnam Veterans Memorials in Memorial Park. There will be a motorcycle ride to kick-off the event to escort the honorees and World War II Veterans, Joseph Howards and Sandy Laghi. The event will feature dedications to these veterans.
There will be a number of Veterans' organizations including The National Guard and The Liberty War Birds. Other activities of the events include music by Joe Kirschen band, KanJam and a Biergarten by Sly Fox, activities by the YMCA, raffles, and giveaways, as well as lots of food!
