Old Timer's Field
Field, Lighting, ADA Access and Stormwater Management Improvements
The Township completed the field upgrades, including field regrading and stormwater management improvements, ADA access improvements, new field lighting, and new field fencing and a backstop. The project was made possible through grants from DCNR, Montco 2040, the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation, and a private donor.



Murgia Park
Field, Lighting, ADA Access and Stormwater Management Improvements
Using grant funding from the Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape and a private donor, the Township designed and installed six new interpretive signs and installed new birdhouses throughout the park.

Bridge, Trail and Streambank Restoration Project
The Township completed the installation of a new bridge over the Goose Run, a new ADA accessible paved trail and fishing overlook with benches.


The Township completed the restoration of the streambank along the Goose Run at the new bridge near the Manatawny Creek in Murgia Park.


Vine Street Park and Howard Street Park
Playground Accessibility
The Township received funds to improve accessibility to Howard Street and Vine Street Parks by adding ADA accessible walks, picnic tables and changing edging. New park signage was also added.
