Just when we thought the mural season had wrapped up for the year, we have a surprise to share; one more signal box mural has been brought to Pottstown! This unexpected addition marks the 14^th signal box mural in the ongoing

Pottstown Public Arts project, a partnership of Pottstown Area Regional Recreation Committee (PARRC), the Borough of Pottstown Recreation Department, ArtFusion 19464, with funding from a private donor. The mural adds another touch of color and creativity to town.

The newest mural was painted by artist Amy Stephen, and it’s her very first mural for Pottstown. This signal box mural is located right outside Santander Bank on High Street, where it now stands as a fun and playful mural for anyone passing through the intersection.

The design is a Carousel-themed scene, complete with rich red curtains, teal backdrops, and a charming carousel-style horse and giraffe seemingly circling the box, and the bold stripes at the top make the piece feel like a miniature stage. Overall, this piece perfectly emulates the carousel right in the heart of Pottstown.

This signal box mural is the perfect surprise to close out the season. Keep an eye out as you travel through town…You never know where the next mural may appear!
