Several PARRC municipalities received grant funding for park and recreation projects in the region. Lower Pottsgrove Township received a $1 million grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development's Local Share Account (LSA) Statewide Grant Program. This generous grant will be used for the design and construction of the Adventure Grove Inclusive Playground at Sanatoga Park. the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) awarded the same project $263,700 through its Community Conservation and Partnership Program (C2P2). These grants bring the inclusive playground project out of the planning stage and much closer to becoming a reality for the kids of the Pottstown area.

The Borough of Pottstown received $250,000 from DCNR for the Pollock Park Playground Project. Pollock Park is undergoing a transformation from underutilized park to valuable recreation asset, thanks in part to the development of a new soccer minipitch in early 2026, and construction of new regulation basketball courts across the street at Cross Street Park in 2025.

Washington Township was the recipient of a $199,000 DCNR grant to improve the nearly thirty-year old playground in Washington Township Park. The Township had previously received a $200,000 LSA grant for the project.
