Brookside Park Redevelopment Complete

The redevelopment of Brookside Park, located at the intersection of Hale Street and Virginia Street in Pottstown, is officially complete, and open to the public.

The project included new playground equipment, a Bankshot basketball court, new swings, improved ADA accessibility, new benches and picnic tables, a rain garden, landscaping, and new fencing throughout the park.

The project was made possible through grants from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation and Partnership Program ($165,300), the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation ($30,000), the Montgomery County Planning Commission’s Montco 2040 Implementation Program ($135,400), and a private donor ($10,000). These improvements provide residents with a safer, more accessible space to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors.
