Join the Litter Lifters of West Vincent along with Green Valleys Watershed to clean up French Creek. The event will be held on September 11 from 7:30-10:30 am, remembering the events of 9/11 and the impact it made.
Participants in this day of service will be climbing down a rocky hill to stream and under the bridge at North Main Street. You must be 18 or older if you wish to volunteer. To participate in this event, contact Beth Intoccia at bethintoccia@gmail.com.
Participants should wear bright clothes, long shirts and pants, closed-toe shoes, sunglasses, and masks. It is also suggested to bring a small backpack to carry extra trash bags and water. Other supplies like waivers, vests, gloves, pickers, and grabbers will be supplied at the check-in, which is at The Foundry in Phoenixville.
The Litter Lifters have removed 350 bags of litter in the West Vincent and Northern Chester County area and continue to collect more bags. Support the environment and join the Litter Lifters as they continue to make an amazing impact on the community.
