In mid-June, the basketball courts at Douglass Park were newly resurfaced. The project has been completed for a few weeks now, and the courts are holding up very well and look great! The gray and blue surface adds a nice pop to Douglass Park and is complimented by new hoops and backboards that were also installed.
Douglass Park experienced a few other renovations in areas including the parking lot near the basketball courts, the park entrance, pedestrian walkways, stormwater management, ADA access, landscaping and more!
The improvements to Douglass Park were made possible by funding from DCNR Community Conservation Partnership Program, MontCo 2040 Program, and PMRPC Funding.
The basketball court improvements had a great turnout and the township is really pleased with the result. Experience the new courts yourself and play a game of basketball in Douglass park!
