Construction is now complete at Old Timer’s Field in West Pottsgrove Township, located at 980 Grosstown Road. The project has brought exciting improvements to this community field. Upgrades include field enhancements such as a new backstop, outfield fencing, and improved drainage. The project also included ADA accessibility improvements, include resurfaced parking spaces, and the installation of new lighting to enhance the park's visibility for evening games.

This project was made possible thanks to $360,000 in funding generously provided by several sources. The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) awarded $200,000 toward the project, while the Pottstown Metropolitan Regional Planning Committee (PMRPC) contributed $22,500. The MontCo 2040 Implementation Program supported the effort with $38,900, and the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation, formerly Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, added $80,000. Additionally, a private donor contributed $4,000.

With the completion of these upgrades, Old Timer’s Field is now an updated, accessible, and welcoming space for the Pottstown Region.
