Livewire Rocks for a Good Cause

Local band Livewire filled Lower Pottsgrove Township's Sanatoga Park with classic rock music in support of an all-inclusive playground project planned for the park. Part of the Township's popular Summer Concert Series that runs from June to August, Livewire took the stage at the amphitheater on Sunday evening and entertained the crowd with rock hits from the 70s to the 00s. The concert was a fundraising event for the Adventure Grove Playground, an all-abilities playground initially envisioned by the grassroots non-profit organization, Adventure Grove Playground, Inc.
The event also included a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Refreshments were provided by the food truck The Munch Box. Throughout the evening, kids played on the recently installed tot lot near the amphitheater, and dogs of all shapes and sizes were spotted throughout the crowd.
A concept plan has been prepared for the inclusive playground project, fundraising efforts are underway, including private donations and grant requests.
