Signal Box Art Project
Calling all Artists! The Pottstown Public Arts Project invites artists to apply for a public art project in which artists create public art on utility boxes located in the Borough of Pottstown, PA. The goal of the project is to use all four sides of the utility boxes to display art that will enhance Pottstown’s visual surroundings. Art should cover all exposed sides and top of the box, if possible. Artists will submit their designs and the Pottstown Public Arts Project Committee will make selections. Artists will be paid for their time and materials. See the application form and materials list below for more information.
Park and Trail Closures:
Pollock Park in the Borough of Pottstown is closed. The park will be remediated and redeveloped with new recreation facilities.

Pottsgrove Manor-Law in 18th Century America
Saturday, Jan. 18th, at 1pm. The law tradition endured with the Potts family. John Sr. served as Justice of the Peace, and two sons became lawyers. As law transformed during the colonial era, it impacted the lives of all Pennsylvanians. Learn more about 18th-century lawyers, judges, and litigants with a presentation by Paul Trainor, business law and legal studies professor, retired lawyer, and researcher.
Steelriver Playhouse Presents: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown
February 7th – February 16th. You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a musical based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz that follows Charlie Brown and his friends as they explore life’s big questions. With catchy tunes, charming dialogue, and timeless lessons, this production is perfect for audiences of all ages.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Drop Off: Saturday, February 22nd, by 3pm. Pottsgrove Manor, 100 W. King St., Pottstown. Pick Up: Sunday, February 23rd at 1pm. Back by popular demand, bring your lovies, and snuggle buddies for their very own night at the museum! Watch as they discover history and have fun frolicking through the Manor with special pictures and videos delivered to. Suggested Donation: $2 per person.
