Park and Trail Closures:

  • Pollock Park in the Borough of Pottstown is closed. The park will be remediated and redeveloped with new recreation facilities.

Signal Box Art Project

Calling all Artists! The Pottstown Public Arts Project invites artists to apply to create a mural on utility boxes located in the Borough of Pottstown. The goal of the project is to use all four sides of the utility boxes to display art that will enhance Pottstown’s visual surroundings. Artists will submit their designs and the Pottstown Public Arts Project Committee will make selections. Artists will be paid for their time and materials. See the application form and materials list below for more information.​

John Doyle Rock the Wall 5K & 10K

Saturday, April 11, 9am, Ellis Woods Park, 855 Ellis Woods Rd., Pottstown. Registration starts at 7:30am, race begins at 9am, and awards presented at 10am. Open to runners and walkers of all ages! Rock the Wall is a fundraiser to support East Coventry Township’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Committee.

Annual Colonial May Fair

Saturday, May 2, 11am – 5pm, Pottsgrove Manor, 100 W. King St., Pottstown. Watch history interpreters, create crafts, cook, and learn skills from the colonial era. Learn about Thomas Potts's Battalion of Associators and how the community gathered during militia musters. Visit the food trucks,and shop at the vendor marketplace! See puppet shows and historic dances. *Events & activities are weather dependent. *Parking available at Pottstown Memorial Park with FREE shuttle service. To view flyer, click here:

Washington Township’s Plant Sale

Saturday, May 2 & 9, 9am – 12pm, Barto Community Park, 120 Barto Rd., Barto. Come get your spring plants and house plants. House plants, herbs, vegetables, and more! If interested in selling, reach out to washtwpberks.org

Powwow on the Manatawny

Saturday, May 2, 12pm – Sunday, May 3, 5pm, Riverfront Park, 104 College Dr., Pottstown. A celebration of the heritage and contributions of Native Americans in this region. Bring camping chairs to the event. Dance Exhibitions, crafts, displays, and food. Children are welcome, and admission is free. Suggested contributions are $5 per person or $10 per family. Rain Date May 3rd.
